Thanks for the response - it is not a huge amount of caulking and
the installer has done a real good job with the caulking that is there
but I guess I just didn't expect it to be caulked!. My walls are white and so it makes sense to use white caulking but I just don't like it and was wondering if I had any alternatives ????
(maybe caulking to match the maple wood perhaps?)
Can you also comment on what is typically done at doors - they
suggested black caulking ? (again the floor is pretty close to the door, although in some case it is not so great the cut!) - is it better to have
transitions (or scribes as the installers are calling it?) at the door?
