We love Amendoim floor but would like to see "real pictures". On manufactures photos they all look very nice . However we are concern about too many knots on some of the samples we see . Also I'm getting conflicting Janka hardness of 1400 and 1900. Are the hardness also determine by the wear layer? Thanks.

Janka hardness scale is of no real value on engineered, just solid. Not sure what your buying. If your seeing many knots on a sample then perhaps it is a lower grade. It depends

Amendoim offers very small type knots, almost like birds eye maple. Once it's installed it's really not noticeable in my opinion unless you're looking for them.

I suggest asking the manufacturer(s) for samples, or maybe even to send out a box.
