I am getting ready to install a 3/4 thick wood floor. I have a pnuematic nailer (Porter Cable FN200) but am unsure of the compressor size required to operate it. I have a pancake style compressor in my woodshop for a finish nailer. Will this compressor have enough capacity to operate a flooring nailer?

Since this is my first install, I am sure I will not be moving at any break-neck speed. But, if this is going to be snail speed, I'd rather get what's necassary before staring the job.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Your pancake will work fine.

If you're getting somewhere around 1.9 or 2.0 cfm @ 90 psi you will be fine using 1 gun at a moderate pace.
