Last night my floor guy applied my second coat of traffic bond. It did not set up right. It looks like it has air bubbles. It probably is related to me giving him Half a gallon of year old stuff. it was stored inside all year. first coat looked real good. It was from his bottle. Going with that my questions are: Was the product too old and How should I fix the air bubbles? He cant get back until june 6. That sucks.

Cant be certain that the cause is from finish that was too old. However, waiting til June 6th is a good thing since it will make that second coat fully mature and at maximum hardness. This will make it possible to buff out those nasty air bubbles, if indeed, thats what they are.
