I have listened to you all intently for a while. My installer does not feel like he needs to test the wood/floor for moisture and insists and feels it only needs to be in my house for 3 days prior to install(early october in WI). He only wants to use bona dri-fast and traffic( I understand it is a good product). While he came recommended by the wood distributor should I be concerned.

Also, what is the downside to a 1/2 inch floor(this case r / q red oak) vs 3/4. I am not to keen on taking up PB and putting down PLY but will for a substantially better product for my heights to match. Thanks Bruce

Test the wood you just bought? Why bother? It always reads the same.
