I have solid hardwood flooring successfully stored in my house for installation. The hardwood arrived in 38 cases, with each case wrapped in heavy plastic. The bottom row was wrapped in another layer of plastic, with the entire pallet wrapped yet again.

I removed all plastic except that surrounding each case. Does this need to be removed as well in order for the flooring to properly acclimate to the indoor climate of my house? Temperature-wise, the wood is okay, but the moisture levels will doubtlessly be different.
