I picked up my new Brazilian Teak flooring on Sunday and brought it into the house. I started opening some of the boxes and stacked the wood in a criss-cross fashion.

Is this OK or should I have left the wood in the boxes?

Also, I bought a moisture meter, but I can't seem to get the stupid pins far enough into the wood (subfloor and flooring) to take a reading. Is there a trick I need to know?

Thanks!
