I just had my floors refinished and I see some lines perpendicular to the wood planks which I believe is chattering. It is hard to see in photos but I am attaching some to get your advice on if this is acceptable amount of chatter. I definitely see it when I walk into the room where the light from the window or overhead lights hit.

If you have a smooth floor it will wear well. To see a problem you need to look straight down at a 5-6 foot height and notice inconsistencies. A reflection off the floor from light does not count.
You can call the contractor who worked on your floor and tell them that you are unhappy.
