I have to demolish a section of ceramic tile at the front door of my house. What is the best method for this?

I am going install engineered glue down hardwood floors at this exterior door. What is the proper transition piece to use at an exterior door? Also do I need to worry about moisture damage to this floor over time due to its close proximity to the exterior door?

Thanks

Bust it out and get the thinset off, so the substrate is flat. Grinders and diamond scrapers are very helpful, especially if they have some sort of dust containment and removal.

I use an endcap molding at exterior doors, rounding the exposed corners, so it isn't just squared off.
